History was created in Toronto yesterday when the Na Piarsaigh CLG Camogie team won the inaugural Canadian National Championship Junior Camogie Final. Both teams had a great training sessions last Friday night. Massive thanks to Burlington Centaurs RFC for hosting us. We were delighted to make use of the grounds and the clubhouse afterwards.
We were also sporting new training tops thanks to sponsors Wayne Gretzky Estates and to MFC Sports for kitting us out. Our men's team travelled to New York this past weekend and participated in the New York GAA 7s tournament at Gaelic Park. They were beaten in the semi final after extra time by a strong Waterford side that went on to win the tournament.
Thanks to New York GAA for organising another great 7s tournament. Our camogie team travelled to Montreal for the first major tournament of 2022. It was a great start to the season for our camogie team making it to the final.
Thanks Montreal for hosting and organizing a great day! Two years later, Na Piarsaigh clubs members were delighted to once again take part in the St Patricks Day Parade.
The club had a great night in Dora Keoghs on Saturday 20th of November, where we recognised our players and club members for the 2021 season.
