The Na Piarsaigh hurling team is an amateur sports team in Toronto. It was founded in 2010 as Toronto Hurling Club and changed its name in 2015 to Na Piarsaigh CLG.
In 2025, the team won the Toronto Hurling Championship, with the club making history as the first Toronto club to win both the hurling and camogie championship in the same year. The club is always welcoming new players to join. Our season runs from April to September and includes a range of different competitions across Canada and the US. If you’re interested in joining us, or just want to know more, contact us via email, social media or come to one of our many events! Reach out to us for more information. What is HurlingHurling is an outdoor team sport of Irish origin dating back over 3000 years. It is the fastest field game in the world. Teams consist of 15 players and the objective is to use a wooden stick (called a hurl or hurley) to hit a small leather ball (called a sliotar) between the opponents goalposts, either over the crossbar for one point, or under for three points
