 The club is holding their annual 'Night at The Races' on Saturday July 26th in PJ O'Briens; 39 Colbourne St, a few minutes walk east of King subway station.
The format of the night is: Pre-recorded races are televised on the big screen, and punters can place bets on their preferred horse. Odds of the horses will depend on the number of bets placed on that horse by all punters. Punters can also 'purchase' a horse for $20, which allows them the availability to name the horse, jocket and trainer/owner. If the horse comes in, the punter will receive a set amount of winnings. Winnings on bets placed will be paid on the first three horses past the post. The first race will run at 8pm, so be sure to come early to get your belts placed! There will be lots of prizes available on the night as well, so be sure to come down to PJ's for a great nights craic!
